Inter have reportedly stepped forward for Roma midfielder Manu Kone.
According to the latest report by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Inter’s failed attempt to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta has prompted the Nerazzurri management to shift priorities.
Di Marzio claims that Inter are now intent on strengthening their midfield and as a result have set Manu Kone in their sights.
The Giallorossi could now also consider selling key players to continue the process of reshaping the squad, aiming to make it as suitable as possible for Gasperini’s needs.
At the moment, this is just an idea, which would be explored further should the Nerazzurri decide to abandon Lookman permanently.
