Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were back in the news this week, as the pop star appeared on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by Kelce and his brother Jason.
The appearance was a long time coming. Remember that it was on that same podcast back in 2023 that Travis shared a story about trying to meet Swift. It wasn’t much longer before news surfaced that they were dating, causing two wildly diverse pop culture worlds to collide and nearly breaking the internet. The rest was history.
Wednesday’s show was partly an acknowledgment of that journey, and partly a means to promote Swift’s upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” But mostly it was just good old-fashioned entertainment.
