While kickers are a critical part of an NFL roster, the fantasy football community has started to remove them from their world. Many fantasy leagues have replaced the kicker spot in their starting lineup with another flex slot. However, kickers are part of the game and should be part of fantasy football.

Everyone wants to draft a superstar kicker like Brandon Aubrey or Harrison Butker. They might be the two best kickers currently in the NFL. Unfortunately, being the best kicker in the league doesn’t equate to being the best for fantasy football. Furthermore, fantasy players likely can’t select either superstar kicker with one of their final two draft picks.

Therefore, let’s talk about kickers that fantasy players can draft with one of their final two selections. There are two types of kicker draft targets – sleepers and Week 1 options. Whether fantasy players want to try to find the next breakout star or find someone to score double-digit points on opening weekend, you’ve come to the right place.

All six kickers in this article have an ADP outside the top 168 picks, meaning fantasy players should be able to draft them in the final two rounds of a standard-size 12-team league with 16 rounds.

Fantasy Football Draft Targets: Late-Round Kickers

    Week 1 Options

Chase McLaughlin (TB): ADP – K4

Last year, McLaughlin was the K6, averaging 9.4 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he was one of the most reliable kickers, converting on 93.8% of his 32 field goal attempts. The veteran also made 54 extra points, the fourth-most in the NFL. The Buccaneers have an excellent offense that should have no trouble scoring on most teams this season. More importantly, they face a below-average Atlanta Falcons defense in Week 1. Last year, McLaughlin had 24 fantasy points in two games against the division rivals.

Chris Boswell (PIT): ADP – K6

Boswell finished last season as the K1, averaging 10.8 fantasy points per game. He was one of three kickers to average double-digit fantasy points per game while playing in more than five contests. More importantly, the veteran kicker doesn’t miss. Boswell has converted at least 90% of his field goal attempts in five of the past six years. The Steelers face the New York Jets in Week 1, who surrendered 10.6 fantasy points per game to kickers last season, including 13 to Boswell in their Week 7 matchup.

Cam Little (JAC): ADP – K14

Unfortunately, the preseason doesn’t count for the record book. Otherwise, Little would have the NFL record for the longest field goal after nailing a 70-yard kick in the Jaguars’ Week 1 preseason matchup. More importantly, he had a strong finish to his rookie season. Last year, Little made all nine field goal attempts over the final month, averaging 9.5 fantasy points per game. He faces the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, who surrendered the most fantasy points per game to kickers last season (11.1).

Daniel Carlson (LV): ADP – K18

After a disappointing 2023 season, Carlson bounced back last year. The veteran finished as the K10, averaging 8.2 fantasy points per game, converting 85% of his field goal attempts. Unfortunately, the Raiders averaged 18.2 points per game last season, the fourth-fewest in the NFL. However, that won’t be the case in 2025 after Las Vegas hired Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly, traded for Geno Smith, and drafted Ashton Jeanty. Don’t be surprised if Carlson finishes as a top-five kicker this year thanks to an improved offense.

Will Reichard (MIN): ADP – K19

Minnesota had to use two kickers last year, as Reichard missed four weeks with an injury. However, he and Parker Romo scored 168 fantasy points, which would have ranked as the third-highest scoring kicker last season. Furthermore, Reichard was the K6 on a points-per-game basis among kickers with at least six games played, averaging 9.7 fantasy points per outing, converting all 38 of his extra point attempts. Expect the Vikings to be in scoring position often this season, giving Reichard plenty of opportunities to kick.

Jason Myers (SEA): ADP – K23

While the Seahawks haven’t had an elite offense the past few years, Myers has consistently been a solid option for fantasy players. Last season, he was the K12, averaging 7.8 fantasy points per game. The veteran made 26 of his 30 field goal attempts, including one from 50 or more yards away in nearly half of the contests. Furthermore, Myers scored eight or more fantasy points in almost 60% of the games. The veteran has finished as a top-12 kicker in three consecutive years.
