The ninth season of Dana White’s Contender Series continues, with the UFC boss handing out a contract to every winner on last night’s show.

After only Ty Miller and Baysangur Susurkaev impressed enough to earn deals with the promotion on the first episode, the pressure was on for the MMA hopefuls to impress Dana White.

Susurkaev’s win on short notice at UFC 319 will give them hope of launching into a career with the UFC, which many have proved they could do with their performances on episode 2 of the show.

Here are the results from the second episode of the ninth season of Dana White’s Contender Series, including the five fighters who earned UFC deals with their performances.

Jose Delano dominated Manuel Exposito over three rounds

In what turned out to be the only fight that went the distance, the main event fight on the second episode of Dana White’s Contender Series still showed a dominant performance from Jose Delano.

The 28-year-old had 18 fights under his belt going into the bout and was known for his ability to earn knockout or submission finishes, but he struggled to put an end to Manuel Exposito last night.

No matter, as his domination on the mat meant the judges awarded him all three rounds, which earned him a deal to fight for the UFC by White after the fight.

Cam Rowston earned his contract by knocking out Brandon Holmes

Cam Rowston brawled his way to a UFC deal with a brutal knockout on Dana White’s Contender Series.

He finished the impressive Brandon Holmes, who seemed primed for success in this series and was the favorite going into the fight.

However, Rowston came out on top in this slugfest, knocking Holmes out cold with some big hits to earn one of the most spectacular wins on the show this season.

Louis Lee Scott could be England’s next UFC star after his TKO win on Dana White’s Contender Series

Louis Lee Scott proved himself to be one of England’s next MMA stars when he picked up an impressive win over Kaushik Saikumar on episode two of the show.

It was a striker vs grappler fight in which the striker came out on top. Scott won both of the first two rounds of this Bantamweight clash before ending the “Pride of Chennai” in the middle of the final round.

While he did win his UFC deal, Lightning Louis missed weight for the fight, which could put him in White’s bad books for the foreseeable future.

Former NFL star Josh Hokit earned a brutal knockout victory with his elbows

One of the most impressive-looking prospects from this season of Dana White’s Contender Series is Josh Hokit, the former NFL player now making a name for himself in the world of MMA.

He was 6-0 going into this season, but wasted little time improving on this record. Hokit quickly finished Guilherme Uriel in just over a minute in the second round, wearing him down with his wrestling skills to score five takedowns in quick succession.

He managed to secure the Brazilian on the ground on his back before earning the ground-and-pound win to get his UFC deal signed.

Given his background, look, and size, it seems like Hokit could be somebody White will have his eye on in the coming years.

Ramiro Jimenez earned a UFC contract with a first-round knockout victory

The first fight of the night saw a dominant performance for Ramiro Jimenez, as the 10-0 prospect landed a first-round win to earn himself a UFC contract.

The Mexican fighter flew out of the blocks incredibly aggressively, stinging Tommy Cuozzi multiple times as he controlled the fight from the start.

He knocked Cuozzi down with a left hand and never let him back up, earning a TKO win in under three minutes to go 11-0 in his career.
