For this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature a combination of high-rostered and lower-rostered plays. For our full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 1 cash games, be sure to check out our DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. To compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterbacks
Dak Prescott | $5,900 | at CHI | pOwn: 7.1%
Prescott ranked as QB 23 last week, but expected fantasy points (xFP) put him at a QB15 trajectory. He attempted 42 passes, the second-most in the league, showing Dallas is willing to lean on his arm. The Bears rank 29th in pressure rate (24.5%), hopefully creating a clean-pocket environment. With modest ownership, Dak stacks offer substantial GPP leverage, although his ownership is likely to increase to the 10-12% range by Sunday, considering the Game Total of 50+.
