Welcome back to another week of fantasy football weather! It’s been a quiet last couple of weeks (for weather), which is much appreciated. We’ve got another international game, along with a good helping of outdoor games to keep us busy this week. What waits ahead? Read below to find out!
International Game (Dublin)
Minnesota Vikings @ Pittsburgh Steelers
LOW impact. Welcome to (partly) sunny Dublin! It’s looking like a nice day overall. There will be some morning rain showers, but I expect those to clear out by gametime. Temperatures will be in the low-60s with winds in the high single digits. No weather issues expected, but maybe some sleep issues? That’s a long way to fly. Either way, start all your usual players.
Sunday Early Afternoon Games
New Orleans Saints @ Buffalo Bills
LOW impact. A beautiful end to September is in store for Buffalo this weekend. Sunny skies, with high temperatures during gametime in the high-70s, with calm winds throughout the game. Is it too early to award my “GOOD WEATHER GAME OF THE WEEK”? No, this is it.
Carolina Panthers @ New England Patriots
LOW impact. There will be some slight morning showers around the area, but they’ll be cleared out well before kickoff. Temperatures in the upper-70s with winds in the single digits. No issues from weather here.
Los Angeles Chargers @ New York Giants
LOW impact. Another beautiful northeast game. Partly cloudy skies, high temperatures in the low-80s, and very light winds. Perfect conditions for Jaxson Dart’s debut.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
LOW impact. There is expected to be some rain showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the game; however, it doesn’t look to be a significant amount of rain. As we’ve seen with other games this season, if a thunderstorm pops up over the stadium, the game will be delayed until it clears out. It will be fairly warm, with expected temperatures in the low-90s (heat index reaching the mid to upper 90s!), but that hasn’t seemed to impact the players too much. If anything, expect a slightly reduced workload for the RBs.
Sunday Late Afternoon Games
Jacksonville Jaguars @ San Francisco 49ers
MEDIUM impact. Winds will be the main concern during the game. No rain is expected, and temperatures will be sitting comfortably in the mid-70s. However, wind speeds will be sustained in the mid-teens with gusts reaching the low-20s throughout the game. The kicking game will likely suffer the worst, so if you have better alternatives than Eddy Pineiro or Cam Little, I would flex to those.
Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs
LOW impact. It will be a nice, but warm, afternoon in Kansas City. Mostly sunny skies, with light winds, and temperatures during gametime in the upper-80s. There won’t be a ton of humidity, so I’m not expecting significant impacts to snap counts. Start all your usual studs.
Monday Night Games
New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins
MEDIUM impact. Rain showers will be in and around the area throughout the day, and I’m expecting some thunderstorms throughout the region. As noted earlier, with thunderstorms, there will be a delay for the game. However, I’m bumping up the impact to medium due to the increased rain chances. Winds will be in the high single digits with temperatures in the upper-70s.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Denver Broncos
LOW impact. It’s going to be a nice and cool night in Denver. Mostly clear skies, with winds in the low single digits. Temperatures will be in the low-60s throughout gametime.
Best of luck to your team in the week ahead!
