PSG and Barcelona meet on October 1 for Matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League league phase, with both clubs carrying momentum into the clash.

The defending champions kicked off their campaign in style, rolling past Atalanta 4-0 with two goals in each half, even without Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé in the lineup.

Barcelona answered with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Newcastle United, powered by a Marcus Rashford double. With both sides considered early contenders, this matchup could prove pivotal in the league-phase standings.

Le Parisien reports that Senny Mayulu could be lined up at the tip of the attack against Barcelona, with Kang-In Lee and Bradley Barcola on the flanks.

Moreover, according to L’Equipe, Vitinha was unable to finish PSG’s training session, leaving some uncertainty over his availability to start against Barcelona.

Furthermore, the outlet reveals that Fabián Ruiz, João Neves, and Vitinha will be included in PSG‘s squad to face Barcelona. On the other side, Barcelona’s Alejandro Balde has returned to full training with the group, according to SPORT’s Carlos Monfort, and appears likely to make the squad for the PSG clash—though he’s expected to start on the bench.
