Each week we will review some of the content found in the DFS Pass and discuss some of our most confident plays heading into Sunday. A lot can change over the weekend, especially with injury news (See Betz’s Injury Blitz podcast) and roster percentages shifting who is in-or-out before roster lock time. Let’s review.

Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – Rico Dowdle is the cheap RB I will have in my lineup this week for cash. At only $4,300, we are getting a major discount for a player who already was seeing a ton of work inside the red zone. He has five carries inside the 5 over the last three weeks to Chuba Hubbard‘s zero. Yes, the Panthers are not a great bunch but Miami’s defense is allowing 5.1 yards per carry (4th most) and the 2nd highest explosive rush rate (9.7%) in the NFL. It’s a mix of volume, price, and a decent spot at home. If you get 10+ DK points, you are a happy camper but obviously more is on the table if he sees 15+ touches.
Betz – Justin Fields isn’t the best real life QB, but for fantasy, that doesn’t really matter. He leads all qualified QBs in fantasy points per drop back, and now he gets a matchup against a Cowboys defense bleeding points to opposing teams. The Cowboys are allowing 6.4 yards per play (31st), they’re dead last in EPA per play, 28th in first downs allowed per game and 30th in points per play. He’s such a comfy click at his mid $5K tag on DraftKings.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
In cash on both sites, expect to see a lot of Justin Fields in a great matchup against Dallas. He’s firmly at the top of your list this week for double ups and head-to-heads, but in tournaments, there’s a lot of interesting pivots and stacks that make sense. You can always flip the build with Dak stacks in that same game while Justin Herbert stacks are also quite affordable with all three of his main stacking partners priced below $6,000 on DK in a great matchup with Washington. Overall, we view the QB pool as pretty strong this week, price adjusted. Don’t be afraid to get off the board in tourneys.
