There are still two Monday Night Football games on deck — the Atlanta Falcons vs. Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders — but it’s still time to look to the waiver wire to find players to start or stash for Week 7.
See my top picks coming out of the Sunday slate ahead of Week 7.

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets & Stashes
All players listed below are rostered in 35% or fewer of Yahoo! leagues.
WR Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes
Troy Franklin (WR – DEN) | 27% Rostered
Troy Franklin has emerged as the No. 2 WR for the Broncos. He has an 18.6% team target share, only trailing Courtland Sutton‘s 20.6%. He didn’t do much in Week 6, so be sure to look on the waiver wire to see if he’s out there.
Kendrick Bourne (WR – SF) | 35% Rostered
Over the last two weeks, Kendrick Bourne has led the 49ers in targets with 20. He’s caught 15 of them for 284 yards. He’s got a great rapport with quarterback Mac Jones from their time in New England together and will continue getting looks with him under center.
Kayshon Boutte (WR – NE) | 8% Rostered
Kayshon Boutte had several down weeks, but in Week 6, he caught five passes on five targets for 93 yards and two touchdowns. This came after him boasting a mere 9.6% target share from Weeks 2 to 5, catching just seven passes for 105 yards and a touchdown.
Boutte could be up and down, but is worth adding with how well Drake Maye is playing and in the event the aging Stefon Diggs gets injured.
Tez Johnson (WR – TB) – 1% Rostered | Kameron Johnson (WR – TB) – 0% Rostered | Sterling Shepard (WR – TB) – 5% Rostered
I grouped all of these players because I’m willing to take a chance on any of them if rookie Emeka Egbuka misses time.
Last week, without Egbuka on the field, Kameron Johnson saw the most action, catching three passes for 30 yards. However, Tez Johnson caught a long touchdown. As for SterlingShepard, he’s been fairly steady even with Egbuka on the field, seeing a 14.3% team target share this season.
Jordan Whittington (WR – LAR) | 0% Rostered
The saddest news of the week was Puka Nacua‘s injury. Right now, he’s listed as day-to-day, but if he misses time, Jordan Whittington would be the next receiver, aside from Davante Adams, to look toward.
This season, when Nacua hasn’t been on the field (which hasn’t been much), Whittington has an 11.8% team target share. I wouldn’t expect major production, but he could be a decent Flex in deeper PPR leagues.
Jalen Coker (WR – CAR) | 12% Rostered
Jalen Coker has yet to hit the field, but when he does, I’d bet he’ll move back into his No. 2 WR role from last season. Get him on your rosters.
Elic Ayomanor (WR – TEN) | 25% Rostered
Titans veteran receiver Calvin Ridley suffered an injury in Week 6, and if he misses time, Elic Ayomanor is the next man up. As it stands, he has an 18.5% team target share, which is just 0.5% lower than Ridley’s. This isn’t an offense I’m dying to have players from, but he’s worth a roster slot.

TE Handcuffs, Targets & Stashes
Harold Fannin Jr. (TE – CLE) | 27% Rostered
Fellow tight end David Njoku was injured in the Browns’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Without him on the field, Harold Fannin Jr. should see an uptick in action. He is already second on the team in target share (16.3%).
Theo Johnson (TE – NYG) | 22% Rostered
Theo Johnson is second on the team in targets over the last three weeks and has three touchdowns. He had a down performance in Week 6, but he’ll continue to see targets so long as Jaxson Dart is in the lineup.
AJ Barner (TE – SEA) | 15% Rostered
AJ Barner had a massive play in Week 6 on a busted coverage, finishing with three catches for 71 yards. He has a team target share of 15.9% over the last three weeks. Barner is worth an add, but is firmly behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp in the pecking order.
Cade Otton (TE – TB) | 12% Rostered
In addition to the three Buccaneers receivers mentioned earlier, Cade Otton is another player you should add. In Week 6, he had a 26.1% team target share, catching five passes for 51 yards.
Over the last three weeks, even with Emeka Egbuka on the field, Otton has seen 16% of the team targets, which is only behind Egbuka’s 22.3%.
Chig Okonkwo (TE – TEN) | 23% Rostered
Chig Okonkwo caught six passes in Week 6, but he’s going to be up and down, even if Calvin Ridley misses time. He is worth an add to see what he does without Ridley on the field, but could be a drop candidate this time next week, too.
Michael Mayer (TE – LV) | 2% Rostered
Michael Mayer had a great Week 6, catching five passes on seven targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. If Brock Bowers misses more time, he’s worth an add.
Oronde Gadsden II (TE – LAC) | 2% Rostered
Despite the fumble, Oronde Gadsden got plenty of work, catching seven passes on eight targets for 68 yards against the Miami Dolphins. He’s worth an add to see if this kind of production continues, or if it was just a nod to his father, who played for the Dolphins.
