Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner suffered a concussion during the team’s Week 7 loss to the Panthers.
It’s unclear exactly how he suffered the concussion, but Gardner was forced to the locker room in the middle of a Carolina drive during the fourth quarter.
Head coach Aaron Glenn said the team will see how the star corner progresses during the week to see if he will be available for next weekend's game against the Bengals.
Gardner will be forced to go through the league’s concussion protocol.
RB/KR Kene Nwangwu also suffered a concussion and Jay Tufele left with a knee injury.
