Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – I’ve got Quinshon Judkins locked into my cash lineup. He represents the perfect blend of pricing ($6000), matchup (MIA), and game environment that begs us to play him in cash this week. He ranks ranks fifth in rush yards over expected per attempt among qualified RBs and the Dolphins might be the league’s worst rush defense. Over the last two weeks, they’ve been completely demolished by Rico Dowdle & Kimani Vidal and now rank DEAD LAST in rushing yards allowed to RBs- 134 per game. For context, they are currently on pace to allow the 5th MOST rushing yards to opposing RBs of any team over the last decade.
Betz – Rashee Rice is back in the lineup for KC, and he’s way too cheap. I’m not overthinking it on a guy who’s earned targets at an elite level ever since he became a full time player during his rookie year. The Chiefs have the highest team total on the slate, Mahomes is playing at an extremely high level, and the Raiders rank 20th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points given up to opposing WRs. I’m locking in Rice, who’s game was built for DK’s full PPR format.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
Paying up for Daniels or Mahomes will be the main move in cash formats. Their implied team totals are both so strong and the DK pricing remains too cheap for the elite tier of QBs. Beyond those two, there are a lot of other directions to go but it’s Daniels or Mahomes and then a major tier break. In tournaments, you do get access to lower rostered stacks in the IND/LAC game or Dak Prescott with all his weapons back.
