SDS edged past TV star Maya Jama and Swedish sensation Alisha Lehmann‘s MVPs in a thrilling final at the London O2 Arena.

Speaking after the final, Sharky kept it short and sweet by saying: “I always believed.”

While SDS player David Marques Castanho who got on the scoresheet that night added: “Being a champion just feels amazing.”

And they’ll be hoping they can do it all over again with the new season now underway.

Why is a Baller League player wearing a mask and is he a current Premier League star?

Niko Omilana has claimed that his Baller League side has made history by having an ACTIVE Premier League star among his roster.

The Baller League has already featured plenty of iconic former Premier League players.

Premier League winner Joleon Lescott appeared at the tournament last campaign.

While Arsenal academy product Henri Lansbury and Manchester United starlet Cameron Borthwick-Jackson are set to feature this time around.

But this is the first time a current Premier League player will be representing a team in the Baller League.

It is yet to be confirmed who the player is, but SunSport will be keeping a close eye on him.
