Each week we will review some of the content found in the DFS Pass and discuss some of our most confident plays heading into Sunday. Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – I’m not scared! TreVeyon Henderson is locked into my lineup against my Falcons. Is there some volatility in the projection? You bet. But a talented sub-$5K RB at home is not something I want to overthink. The NE beat reporters I trust are saying exactly what we should be thinking: “sets up a big opportunity for Henderson“. The Falcons’ rush defense is allowing the 3rd highest rush success rate (54.6%) and 6th lowest stuff rate (40%) in the NFL. Henderson should see close to 15 touches as a home favorite. Hendo + Monangai, let’s ride!
Betz – Like Borg, I’m rolling with the cheap RB chalk and not looking back. Kyle Monangai is just $4,600 on DK and $5,200 on FD, and he’s taking on a Bengals defense that ranks dead last in schedule-adjusted points allowed to RBs. He’s already started to eat into D’Andre Swift‘s workload before Swift got ruled out, and now his competition for touches is journeyman special teamer and third down back Travis Homer and former 7th round pick Brittain Brown, who’s logged the same number of touches in the NFL regular season as you!
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
Dart is going to be the easy cash game click. The consistent rushing floor (8.1 rushing fppg) mixed with a 49ers defense that is beatable makes him fit comfortably in lineups this week. However, his stacking partners (Tracy, Wan’Dale Robinson, or Theo Johnson) feel fine for median outcomes but we aren’t forcing them together in cash. There are a number of QBs with real ceilings in better game environments that will love stacking up in tournaments. We love Daniel Jones this week and think the field is undervaluing the MVP Josh Allen.
