With the NFL season past the halfway point, we need to closely monitor injuries for Week 10, which can impact our fantasy football lineups.
Every week, we’ll dive into the latest fantasy football injuries using FantasyPros’ injury tracker to discuss how much this matters for your fantasy teams. Plus, check out our Are They Playing tool to see the probability of an injured player playing this week.
Let’s dive into the top fantasy football injuries to know for Week 10.

Fantasy Football Injuries to Know for Week 10
Garrett Wilson (WR – NYJ)
Garrett Wilson (knee) logged a limited practice on Thursday.
Garrett Wilson is ready to return to action for the Jets. The Browns rank 21st in fantasy points per game allowed to wide receivers. With the Jets trading away two key defensive pieces in Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams, perhaps we start to see them involved in more shootouts. That bodes well for Wilson.
Alvin Kamara (RB – NO)
Alvin Kamara (ankle) got in a limited practice on Thursday.
Alvin Kamara has been consistently limited in practice, so this isn’t major news. But it’s worth pointing out that this lingering ankle injury is likely the reason why he’s been struggling lately. Kamara has 31 rushing yards or fewer in five consecutive games. He’s merely a desperation Flex at this stage of the season.
Terry McLaurin (WR – WSH)
Terry McLaurin (quad) missed practice on Thursday.
Terry McLaurin is likely to miss yet another game after failing to get in a practice this week. It’s been a lost season for McLaurin. We could use this as a cautionary tale of a wide receiver who holds out and misses almost all of training camp. It makes them more likely to get injured.
Aaron Jones (RB – MIN)
Aaron Jones (hamstring/toe) returned to practice on Thursday.
Aaron Jones was able to get back to practice in a limited fashion on Thursday. That bodes well for the veteran’s chances of suiting up against the Ravens. We saw Jones put up rock-solid production against the Lions in Week 9, racking up 98 total yards on only 11 touches. You can fire up Jones as a Flex play versus Baltimore.

Rico Dowdle (RB – CAR)
Rico Dowdle (quad) was a limited participant in practice on Thursday.
We can all collectively breathe a sigh of relief as Rico Dowdle returned to practice on Thursday. Dowdle has emerged as a star running back for the Panthers, which has been one of the biggest surprises of the season. It’s a smash spot at home against the Saints, who have been gashed on the ground on the road, giving up big games to Dalvin Cook and D’Andre Swift.
James Cook (RB – BUF)
James Cook (ankle) recorded a limited practice on Thursday.
The same reaction I expressed with Rico Dowdle is what I felt with James Cook, who got back to practice on Thursday. It’s a terrific matchup in Week 10 against a Dolphins defense that has been torched on the ground all year. You can fire up Cook with confidence as an elite RB1 in this spot.
A.J. Brown (WR – PHI)
A.J. Brown (hamstring) practiced on Thursday.
A.J. Brown is ready to return for the Eagles, fresh off missing Week 8 and resting during the Week 9 bye. When we last saw Brown, he racked up 121 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings. This kind of elite talent is too hard to bench, even though his production has been volatile. We can fire him up as an upside WR2 against the Packers.
Rome Odunze (WR – CHI)
Rome Odunze (ankle/heel) returned to practice on Thursday.
Rome Odunze was able to return to practice on Thursday, which bodes well for his chances of playing against the Giants. The problem is that this game could turn into a low-scoring affair due to the weather, as there’s a risk that it snows for this one. Add in the fact that Odunze has been struggling lately, and it could be another floor week.
