A lot can change over the weekend, especially with injury news (See Betz’s Injury Blitz podcast) and roster percentages shifting who is in-or-out before roster lock time. Let’s review.

Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – The easiest click for me this week is De’Von Achane. The floor this season has been unmatched hitting 16+ DK points in 8 of his 9 contests. His weighted opportunities per game is second only to CMC on this slate and yet the pricing difference (-$1600!) makes a huge difference. The Bills defense is a certifiable run funnel and Achane can certainly take advantage of it at home.
Betz – There probably won’t be many spots on the calendar where the Panthers are home favorites by almost a TD. It’s time to queue up Rico “Two Pumps” Dowdle. The Panthers are built to run the football, and now with Tet McMillan Q because of a hamstring injury, they have even more reason to lean in Rico and the run game here. Last week, Dave Canales went full Rico, letting Dowdle out-touch Chuba Hubbard 27 to 5.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
Josh Allen has crushed the Dolphins in his career. He’s far too cheap on DK for his floor/ceiling combo in this matchup with Vegas giving the Bills a whopping 30-point implied team total. If you want to spend up and lock in Allen in cash, we wouldn’t argue with anyone. Just be mindful that pricing is really tight this week on DK. If you play Allen, expect to have to sacrifice a stud elsewhere in your lineup, but there are teams that project quite well with him in there. If you want to prioritize guys like CMC, Puka, JSN, etc. you’ll likely need to play a cheaper guy like Dart, Mariota or Jacoby.
