Welcome to the Target Trends article for Week 11! We are well into the double-digit weeks; let’s start, as usual, by looking at the season-long target leaders to this point.
Even after the week off, Ja’Marr Chase still leads all players with 107 targets. Nobody else has hit triple digits yet, with Chris Olave closest at 95. Christian McCaffrey comes in next with 90 targets to lead all RBs, and Trey McBride is right behind him with 88 targets to lead all TEs.
Chase (11.9) and Drake London (10.6) are the only players averaging double-digit targets per game. Puka Nacua (9.9) and Trey McBride (9.8) are close. CMC is averaging 9.0 targets/game, with De’Von Achane next, all the way down at 6.6 targets/game.
I will continue to lead off this article with season-long target leaders each week, but for now, let’s check out this week’s target trends heading into Week 11.
Nico Collins: 15 targets, 7 rec
Dalton Schultz: 11 targets, 7 rec
Collins led the way with 15 targets, tying his career high from Week 4 of last season. He has seen double-digit targets in three consecutive games and is now up to a 26.3% target share. As for Schultz, he’s finished as a top-ten fantasy TE in three of the last four weeks, averaging 8.0 targets/game and a 19% target share over that span.

Emeka Egbuka: 13 targets, 6 rec
Cade Otton: 12 targets, 9 rec
Egbuka is up to 76 targets on the season, just one behind Tetairoa McMillan for the lead among rookies. Otton is the second most targeted Buccaneer with 48 targets. Sterling Shepard is the only other Tampa Bay player with at least 40 targets, which is exactly what he has.
Trey McBride: 13 targets, 9 rec
Marvin Harrison Jr.: 12 targets, 3 rec
As mentioned above, McBride leads all TEs with 88 targets. He also leads the position with a 28.9% target share. It has been enough to make him the TE1 through ten weeks. As for MHJ, his 12 targets were a new season high. He has averaged 11 targets/game over the last two weeks since coming off the bye.
Justin Jefferson: 12 targets, 4 rec
Jordan Addison: 11 targets, 3 rec
Jefferson’s season-high 12 targets did not turn into much production, as he was only able to haul in four of them for a season-low 5.7 fantasy points in Minnesota’s loss to Baltimore. Addison didn’t fare any better, as his 11 targets turned into just three catches and 5.0 fantasy points.
Jerry Jeudy: 12 targets, 6 rec
Jeudy finally turned his targets into fantasy production, as he found the end zone for the first time this season and finished as the WR12. It was his best outing of the season and the first time he has finished inside the 30-32 fantasy WRs since Week 1.

Rome Odunze: 10 targets, 6 rec
Odunze followed up last week’s goose egg with the WR10 performance of Week 10. He leads the Bears with 69 targets this season, 19 more than Olamide Zaccheaus and 21 more than DJ Moore. D’Andre Swift (32) is the only other Bear with at least 30 targets.
Mack Hollins: 10 targets, 6 rec
It wasn’t Stefon Diggs leading the Patriots in targets for Week 10. It wasn’t Demario Douglas. It wasn’t even rookie Kyle Williams. Instead, Mack “Soup is for the Weak” Hollins led the way with the second double-digit target game of his career, and his first since Week 3 of 2022. It probably won’t be the norm, but Hollins can be used as a desperation play.
Tyler Warren: 10 targets, 8 rec
Warren led the way for the Colts in Week 10 and is not just three targets behind Michael Pittman Jr. for the team lead. We have seen an influx of rookie TEs dominate fantasy football in recent seasons, and with Warren currently sitting as the TE2 on the season, it appears the pattern is continuing..
Troy Franklin: 9 targets, 5 rec
Courtland Sutton: 4 targets, 3 rec
It appears to be official, Franklin is Denver’s WR1. Over the last month, Franklin has averaged 9.3 ytargets/game, compared to just 6.5 targets/game for Sutton. Bo Nix hasn’t been playing well enough to give either WR confidence, but Franklin may be the safer play at this point.
DK Metcalf: 7 targets, 3 rec
Calvin Austin III: 7 targets, 2 rec
DK Metcalf signed a $150 million contract with the Steelers this offseason. Calvin Austin II is playing on a $4.2 million rookie contract. You would think that the Steelers would focus the targets on their franchise WR, but it has been frustrating so far. Players with more targets than Metcalf include Romeo Doubs, Khalil Shakir, and Harold Fannin. Jr.
