Bettors in Missouri, as of Monday morning, may now register and deposit with the state’s nine licensed sportsbooks ahead of the scheduled Dec. 1 statewide launch.

    • Missouri bettors can now preregister and deposit with nine sportsbooks ahead of the Dec. 1 statewide launch.
    • Existing users in nearby states can log in with their same accounts, but may not qualify for new-user bonuses.
    • FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, Fanatics, bet365, Circa, Underdog, and theScore Bet will all go live Dec. 1.

Missouri regulations permit eligible bettors physically present in the state to sign up for accounts and then deposit two weeks before the go-live date. This allows bettors who have not previously registered with these books in different states the opportunity to secure promotions before the launch date.

Bettors still can’t wager with any of the eligible sportsbooks in Missouri until 12:01 a.m. on Dec. 1.

Most of the nine books set to launch in Missouri are already live in several neighboring states including Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Bettors who have registered for these accounts in other states won’t be eligible for most sign-up bonuses in Missouri.

Previous registrants won’t have to add a new account or download a new app to bet in Missouri. Most books coming to the Show Me State Dec. 1 have universal wallets, allowing bettors to fund one account that has funds available in most (if not all) of the states where the operator has gone live.

Eligibility is determined by physical location, not state of residence. An Illinois resident will be able to bet in Missouri beginning Dec. 1 just as a Missouri resident is able to bet in Illinois now.

Bettors physically within Missouri will have to be at least 21 or older to place a bet. As in all other legal sports betting states, bettors will have to submit a valid social security number to create an account.

Eligible bettors can wager from anywhere within Missouri state lines once betting goes live. Mobile sportsbook accounts automatically update jurisdictions when a customer crosses state lines.

    Coming sportsbooks

The Missouri sports betting market will include most major national sportsbook brands.

FanDuel and DraftKings are set to launch Dec. 1. The two market share leaders accept roughly 75% of all legal bets placed nationwide and told state officials they expect to hit similar thresholds in Missouri.

Other leading national brands, including Fanatics, BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365, also opened preregistration Monday. Like FanDuel and DraftKings, these books are live in most bordering states.

Circa, a sportsbook known for catering to “sharp” bettors, is expected to launch an updated version of its mobile sportsbook, including a shared wallet feature. Underdog, better known for its fantasy sports offerings, will have its second live sportsbook jurisdiction in Missouri, following a launch last year in North Carolina.

TheScore Bet is also set to go live in Missouri Dec. 1 in conjunction with its nationwide rebrand from ESPN BET.

    Sign-up offers

With a new sports betting market comes an array of sign-up bonuses from the operators.

DraftKings is offering new customers that sign up today $300 in bonus bets that will arrive in accounts on launch day.

FanDuel offers $100 in bonus bets and an additional $300 in bonus bets to customers after they place their first $5 wager after sports betting goes live on Dec. 1.

Fanatics customers that deposit $50 can get up to $3,000 in No Sweat Bets FanCash.

At BetMGM, customers can get up to $1,500 paid back in bonus bets if they don’t win their first bet, and $100 in bonus bets to those who deposit before Dec. 1.

And at bet365, the pre-registration offer is bet $10 and get $365 in bonus bets.
