A former UFC champion has crossed over into an entirely new world in 2025 with significant financial benefits.

One of the fighters who is set to headline UFC Qatar this weekend, Arman Tsarukyan, recently claimed that he makes a loss when he fights if he doesn’t get his win bonus.

The lightweight contender revealed that the base pay he receives of $150,000 is gone by the time that he pays taxes and covers his training camp expenses.

Dana White stated that UFC fighter pay will increase as a result of the promotion’s $7.7 billion broadcast deal with Paramount+ that begins in 2026.

Unfortunately for many of the fighters who helped to build the sport into what it is today, their careers ended before they could reap some of these rewards.

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson says he’s earned more as a streamer than he did as a fighter

Having already achieved incredible things in Pride before he arrived inside the Octagon, in 2007, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson became one of the fastest fighters to go from debuting in the UFC to being a champion.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion made his pro debut in 1999 and competed all the way up until his final Bellator appearance in 2019.

During that time, he was one of the biggest personalities and stars in the sport, even achieving crossover success when he landed a starring role in 2010’s ‘The A-Team’ alongside the likes of Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper.

Jackson, who wants the UFC to drastically increase their post-fight bonuses following the Paramount+ deal, became a streamer in 2025 alongside his role as a host of the JAXXON Podcast.

In a recent video, the 52-fight veteran claimed that the financial success he’s had in this world is already above what he made in MMA.

“I’ve only been streaming for eight months and I’ve made more from streaming in eight months than I did in fighting for 25 years. 100 percent. The sponsors f— with me way more on stream than my fighting. Y’all seen my streams, I’m the biggest degenerate there is. My streams, the clips, it gets more numbers than my fights.”

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson was recently branded a ‘casual’ by fans

As previously mentioned, alongside his live streaming, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson regularly speaks to fighters and recaps events via the JAXXON Podcast.

When speaking about the main event of UFC 322 in a recent episode, the former UFC champion admitted that he was surprised by how sharp Islam Makhachev’s striking was on Saturday night.

He went on to admit that this was because it was his first time watching the pound-for-pound number one compete, which led to fans calling Jackson out.

Considering what he said about how much he’s made as a streamer, this seemingly won’t bother him all that much.
