LAURA Woods has revealed her “lips went blue” as she opened up on her heartbreaking miscarriage.
The TNT Sports presenter, 38, suffered the devastating blow while 11 weeks pregnant last year.
The heartbreaking loss happened just months before Adam took part in filming for the brutal Channel 4 series Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The 29-year-old was left in floods of tears on the show as he spoke about losing his unborn baby in emotional scenes.
Now, Laura, has opened up on the grief she has experienced during once of the hardest times of her life.
She said the nightmare unfolded while she was still working flat out and the trauma unfolded at home as she phoned for help in 2024.

Laura told the Telegraph: “I remember calling 111, saying: ‘I’m bleeding.’ It had gone from spotting, which can be normal in pregnancy, and I was constantly Googling what it might mean.
“I had been doing interviews in Manchester all day when I started getting awful cramps. And then it was like my body let go, and it was just really sad.”
She said a doctor gently told her it sounded like she was miscarrying and explained there was nothing doctors could do other than advise her to get comfortable and wait for it to pass.
Laura continued: “It was excruciating. Your body goes through contractions trying to expel this little thing, and at six the next morning it was still going on. Adam looked at me and my lips had gone blue, my face was completely pale.
“Only at the hospital did the pain lift. Talking to a lady who’d had three miscarriages, you realise how common it is.”
She revealed it took around a year and a half before she felt able to properly talk about what had happened, admitting she knew Adam’s time on Celebrity SAS could dredge up painful emotions.
Laura said the show strips contestants back emotionally through exhaustion and hunger, and Adam worried the subject might resurface.
And the TV presenter said she told him there was no stigma and that she didn’t want the miscarriage to be something they hid, but admitted it hit him hard.
Laura went on to describe the loss as “strange and deeply emotional”, explaining it was grieving for someone you never met, yet felt an intense connection to.
Motherhood has since brought her comfort, with the arrival of her son Leo proving the “sanctuary” she longed for.
Laura said she adores the way he looks at her, adding that it feels as though he’s looking straight into her soul.
She said being able to shut the door and spend time with her family has completely changed her priorities, admitting she no longer obsesses over appearances in the way she once did.
Laura joked that she now happily lives as a “second-class citizen” in her own life, with Leo’s needs coming first – and said she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Adam even previously blamed himself for the heartbreak as he claimed it was “bad karma” for his behaviour on dating shows.
He said: “I know it’s a terrible way to look at it, but I felt like it was bad karma for me being on dating shows and upsetting too many people.
“I felt like that was some high power’s way of being like, ‘Well, there you go, that’s what you have to carry’.”
What is miscarriage and why do pregnancies fail?
MISCARRIAGE is generally the death of an unborn baby in the first 24 weeks – approximately six months – of pregnancy.
Miscarriages may not be spoken about a lot but they are very common. Baby loss charity Tommy’s estimates there are at least 250,000 per year in the UK and that one in every five pregnancies ends in miscarriage.
It may not be clear why a miscarriage happens but they are rarely caused by anything done by the mother or father. Usually the embryo has a random genetic defect that means it cannot develop properly.
Most women can go on to successfully have healthy babies in the future.
The NHS says most miscarriages cannot be prevented but avoiding smoking, alcohol and drugs while pregnant can reduce the risk.
Some of the other most common reasons for a pregnancy to fail in the first 24 weeks are ectopic pregnancy and molar pregnancy.
Ectopic pregnancy is where a fertilised egg implants somewhere outside of the womb, usually in a fallopian tube. It cannot survive and grow there so either dies naturally or must be terminated.
Molar pregnancy is rarer but happens when a fertilised egg and/or placenta does not develop properly at the start of a pregnancy. There is no single reason why it happens and cannot be prevented, though it may be more common in very young or old mothers.
A baby who dies after 24 weeks is considered a stillbirth.

Personal trainer Adam began dating Laura, who fronted the recent Women’s Euros coverage, in October 2023 and they got engaged last September.
Adam was once a major lothario, appearing on Love Island in 2018 and again in 2022, when he was brought back as a bombshell.
Despite their baby heartbreak, the couple – who got together in 2023 and became engaged in September last year – welcomed son Leo in January this year.
It comes after Laura revealed how her stalker sent her chilling pictures of her front door while she was live on TV.
The award-winning sports presenter, 38, was harassed for two years by a female football fan who sent her unwanted deliveries including an STI testing kit.
Laura was left living in “real fear” during the campaign of harassment by Harneet Kaur, 25, which started in 2021.
Harneet also sent terrifying threats to kill Laura’s dog and sending Bibles, sexual health tests and food orders to the broadcaster’s London home.
Liverpool fan Harneet became infatuated with Laura and harassed her over a two year period – but has since been jailed for 14 months and given a restraining order.
