New York didn’t hold a single lead during the second and third quarters but stormed back with a 12-1 run to start the fourth and go ahead for good. The Knicks outscored San Antonio 35-19 in the fourth quarter to secure their first NBA Cup title.

Forward OG Anunoby had a team-high 28 points for New York, guard Jalen Brunson added 25 points, and center Karl-Anthony Towns had 16 points and 11 rebounds. The Spurs had seven double-digit scores led by 21 points from Dylan Harper and 18 from Victor Wembanyama.

A key component of the Knicks’ win came down to second-chance opportunities. New York had 23 offensive rebounds leading to 32 second-chance points. San Antonio hadn’t allowed 32 second-chance points in any NBA game since the Los Angeles Lakers had 33 second-chance points in Game 3 of the 2001 conference finals, according to ESPN Research.

New York also received notable contributions off the bench from guards Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek. Clarkson was a team-high plus-15, and Colek was plus-14, assisting in the Knicks’ fourth-quarter run.

Here are the highlights and biggest moments from the Knicks’ big win over the Spurs.
