This article highlights plays with substantial upside for large-field GPPs. That doesn’t mean playing only these players and excluding the cash game plays. In fact, many top tournament lineups blend high-rostered anchors with lower-rostered leverage plays. Betz’s Cash Plays for Week 17 are HERE.

Quarterback
Josh Allen vs PHI | $7,000
Anytime we get the most consistent QB in fantasy scoring at sub 5% ownership, we have to keep him in play. The price tag is up there, but knowing he can 6x is a true difference maker the field forgets about. Remember, DFS players this late in the season are hiveminded – they’ll flock to cash plays. But after the last two weeks Milly Maker being less than 100% owned, Allen is the type of click that takes a lineup the distance.
Drake Maye vs NYJ | $6,800
M-V-P. M-V-P. Maye’s eyes are on it and the Jets defense isn’t a formidable obstacle. He struggled in their last matchup but with the Jets having nothing to play for and the Patriots going for the top seed, Maye will use his arm and legs to hopefully push the Patriots past the 13.5 spread they’re walking out of the tunnel with.
