Joshua Pagan has made weight for his professional homecoming on Tuesday night.

Pagan tipped the scales at 134.5lbs, while Nicaragua’s Bryan Jimenez came in at 133.2lbs.

The 10-round lightweight bout will take place in Pagan’s hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan, at the GLC Live at 20 Monroe.

Pagan enters with a record of 14-0 (5 KOs) and is coming off the biggest win of his career, stopping Maliek Montgomery in the ninth round of their bloody battle in Puerto Rico. The 26-year-old Pagan will look to further establish himself as a lightweight contender in the rapidly-changing division, as Shakur Stevenson was recently stripped of the WBC title, and Gervonta Davis has been placed as champion-in-recess.

Jimenez, 18-2 (10 KOs), is a veteran coming off a 10-round unanimous decision win over Israel Lopez in November. Jimenez, 28, saw a lengthy winning streak snapped when he lost a unanimous decision to Shamar Canal in July.

The bout will stream on DAZN and is promoted by Salita Promotions.

The co-feature will crown a champion, as 2020 Canadian Olympian Caroline Veyre faces former titleholder Delfine Persoon for the vacant women’s WBC junior lightweight title.

Veyre weighed in at 129.4lbs, while Persoon came in at 127.2lbs.

Veyre, 10-1, is moving up in weight to fight for the first world title of her career, as all of her previous bouts have been at featherweight. Veyre, a 37-year-old who trains in Montreal, Quebec, has been fast-tracked.

Persoon, 50-3 (20 KOs), is a 41-year-old former beltholder with a lengthy professional career. The Belgian turned professional in 2009 and is best known for her competitive lightweight bouts against Katie Taylor. In June, Persoon stopped Ana Maria Lozano in the sixth round, marking her first bout back after a no-contest to Alycia Baumgardner when an accidental head clash opened a cut on Persoon’s head, and the bout was stopped before the completion of the fourth round.

    Full weigh-in results to come…
