Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on what Ronda Rousey has been saying about the UFC.
Just last year, Rousey was critical of Rogan when dismissing him as a fan with an audience rather than an expert on mixed martial arts.
Rogan wasn’t offended when reacting to Rousey’s comments about him, saying that it’s this ‘me against the world’ mentality that made her such a special fighter.
One of the biggest stars in the history of the sport has changed her focus to calling out the UFC in recent weeks following the announcement of her comeback.

Joe Rogan believes that it’s important that Ronda Rousey is calling the UFC out over fighter pay
Ronda Rousey has been very critical of the UFC after her negotiations with the promotion to make her Octagon return collapsed.
She’s now set to make her MMA comeback on Netflix in an event that many are seeing as the substantial competition that the sport’s leading promotion has needed for some time.
Rousey’s revolution to try and make a serious impact is something that Joe Rogan supports, with the UFC commentator explaining why when sharing his thoughts on what ‘Rowdy’ has had to say.
“Look, she made some good points,” he said on the JRE MMA Show #176. “The most important thing is that she gets the conversation out there and it puts pressure on the UFC to pay people more… If Netflix can kind of do the boxing thing on Netflix with big name stars, they could be a major player and that will elevate everybody’s pay scale.”

Earlier this month, Rogan praised Zuffa Boxing when explaining that MMA needs more promotions that can compete with each other and how that will benefit the fighters.
Rousey highlighting some of these points with the backing of Netflix behind her could lead to exactly the thing that he believes MMA is lacking.
“If what she’s saying doesn’t make any sense, she can’t say it, right? So, if what she’s saying makes sense, then you have to go, she’s got a point… If more players get involved in this and more people become free agents, it could get very interesting,” Rogan added.
