Tim Elliott has not been shy to respond to his haters after a defeat Down Under on Saturday.
The flyweight veteran was among the fighters who traveled to enemy territory to battle an Australian star at UFC Perth.
Elliott submitted ex-title challenger Kai Asakura to make it two wins in a row last August, and he was hoping to make it back-to-back victories over former Alexandre Pantoja rivals on May 2.
The American was unable to do so, instead dropping a decision to Steve Erceg. But the loss doesn’t appear to have affected the 39-year-old too negatively.

Tim Elliott responds to abusive messages after his UFC Perth defeat
The MMA community certainly has its negative corners, and Elliott has been experiencing that in the aftermath of his setback in Perth.
He’s been receiving a number of abusive messages on social media, most of which have seemingly come from those who bet on the longtime flyweight contender to have his hand raised against Erceg.
Not one to ignore even the worst comments, Elliott has been responding.
He replied to one user who berated him over a lost bet with a fitting four-word message.
“Get a job b—c,” Elliott wrote on X.

Elliott also posted screenshots of replies he sent to a number of haters who messaged him abuse after the decision setback against ‘AstroBoy’.
When asked why he doesn’t simply block or ignore them, the 39-year-old insisted he is not affected at all by the hate he receives after losses.
“I like to hear opinions, thoughts, beliefs. My mental health is top notch. It’s my old body that struggles lol”
Elliott is now 10-12 inside the UFC Octagon after failing to get the better of Erceg.
In addition to his recent triumphs over Asakura and Sumudaerji, the veteran holds wins over notable names like Tagir Ulanbekov and Louis Smolka.
The No. 11-ranked contender also once challenged for UFC gold against flyweight GOAT Demetrious Johnson, losing via decision against ‘Mighty Mouse’ in 2016.
