The complete NFL schedule release date isn’t until tonight, but we’ve seen plenty of games trickle in already.
Books waste no time getting NFL odds for games with confirmed dates, as bettors can already make their NFL picks for several games. Those include the Week 1 Sunday Night Football showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.

Christmas is coming early in 2026… kind of. Netflix is getting in on the NFL fun ahead of the big holiday this season, securing the rights to air the San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams game in Australia.

With more question marks surrounding the Niners, DraftKings has opened the Rams as -2.5-point favorites. The offensive minds of Sean McVay and Kyle Shanahan have the books setting this total at 48.5 down under.

Jets vs. Titans odds
The New York Jets will face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon of Week 1, according to Jordan Schultz. The Jets will face former head coach Robert Saleh.

Adam Schefter reported on May 11 that the first SNF matchup will be between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.
After what most saw as a strong draft, Dallas opened up as a slight road favorite over its division rival. Meanwhile, the total is set at 47.5, with the books pricing the Over at -115.

It was reported on Tuesday, May 12, that the Denver Broncos will hit the road to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the season’s first edition of Monday Night Football.

Books have opened up the Bills as field-goal faves, with plenty of question marks surrounding the Lions. One thing is for certain, books also expect plenty of points, with the total set at 52.5.

2026 NFL key dates
While the full schedule comes out on Thursday, we still know some key dates to circle on our calendars.
Season start: The NFL season kicks off on Wednesday, September 9, with the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks playing an opponent yet to be announced.
International series: All nine international games were confirmed on Wednesday.

Thanksgiving games: Grab your turkey legs, because the Thanksgiving festivities will take place on Wednesday, November 25, with a “Thanksgiving Eve” game between the Packers and Rams. Three games will be played on Thursday, but we know of only one (Eagles vs. Cowboys) so far.
Christmas Day: Despite Christmas being the NBA’s day for so long, the NFL has made a huge push over the last few seasons to leave its mark on the holiday. All games played on that day are expected to be announced on May 14.
Week 18: If things go according to plan, Week 18 should be played on January 10, 2027.
NFL playoffs: The Wild Card weekend is expected to start on January 16, with the Divisional Round and Conference Championship being played a week apart.
