Sunday Night Football beings us the first prime-time game of the NFL preseason at Soldier Field with a clash between the Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears tonight on FOX.

The Bears will be rolling out several of their starters, and Underdog Fantasy has you covered with plenty of prop options.

Here are my top three NFL player prop picks and Bills vs Bears on Sunday, August 17.

    Bills vs Bears props

    • Bears Kyle Monangai Higher than 22.5 rushing yards
    • Bears Luther Burden Higher than 21.5 receiving yards
    • Bills Mitch Trubisky Higher than 92.5 passing yards

Pick 1: Kyle Monangai Higher than 22.5 rushing yards (Play at Underdog)

Kyle Monangai had an impressive showing last week in the preseason with six carries for 30 yards against the Miami Dolphins. While he is third on the depth chart right now for the Chicago Bears, he will be second in Sunday night’s game because Roschon Johnson is out injured.

D’Andre Swift will be out there for the starters, but that may only be a series or two. Then you should see Kyle Monangai for at least the rest of the half, and you wouldn’t be shocked if he saw some more action since he is a rookie.

While the Buffalo Bills only allowed one player to surpass this number last week, I think Monangai is better than most of the players they faced and will likely see more volume. I am rolling with him to surpass this number.

Pick 2: Luther Burden Higher than 21.5 receiving yards (Play at Underdog)

Last week, the rookie wideout had three targets and caught two passes for 29 yards. I expect to see him out there in three wide sets with the starters, and then he should still stay in the game after D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze exit with Caleb Williams.

Between the reps of Williams and Tyson Bagent, I expect Luther Burden to see between 3-5 targets. That is plenty of opportunity to easily hit this receiving number. He could honestly hit it on just one or two targets, considering his two catches last week were for 16 and 13 yards.

The Bills allowed six different players to surpass 22 receiving yards last week, and if you are giving me six players for the Bears this week, then Burden is easily in that number.

Pick 3: Mitch Trubisky Higher than 92.5 passing yards (Play at Underdog)

It will be a nice revenge game opportunity for Mitch Trubisky against the team that once drafted him number two overall. It is unknown who will start yet for the Bills as of Saturday night, but regardless, Trubisky and Mike White will see most of the action as they battle it out for the second-string job.

Last week, Trubisky started and threw for 138 yards on 9/13 passing. In relief, White threw for 112 yards on 8/13 passing. So, either way the rotation works out, I expect Trubisky to see enough playing time to surpass this number if he performs well enough.

Last week, the Bears allowed 96 yards passing to Zach Wilson and even 91 yards passing to Quinn Ewers, even though Ewers played awful and struggled with accuracy.

Odds are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change.
