Hurston Waldrep (SP – ATL) vs. CWS
Hurston Waldrep’s control, ERA and ERA estimators were shaky in 19 Triple-A starts this year. However, in his final seven starts in Triple-A this year, Waldrep had a 1.99 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 9.6 BB% and 21.6 K% in 40.2 innings. Additionally, per FanGraphs, Waldrep had the following stats in three appearances (two starts) spanning 17.2 innings for the Braves in 2025.

The White Sox have hit well lately, but their full-season marks are ugly. Chicago is 28th in wRC+ (85) with a 22.2 K% versus righties and 25th in wRC+ (89) with a 24.0 K% on the road in 2025. Thus, the Braves are listed as -175 favorites, and the game’s total is 9.0 runs, leading me to rank Waldrep as the top pitcher on tonight’s DFS slate.
Yusei Kikuchi (SP – LAA) vs. CIN
Yusei Kikuchi has dominated at home in his first year with the Angels. In 13 starts spanning 75 innings at home in 2025, Kikuchi has a 2.40 ERA, 4.01 xFIP, 1.24 WHIP, five wins, five quality starts, 7.6 BB% and 24.1 K%. The veteran lefty has a plus matchup and favorable betting info tonight.
The Reds are tied for 25th in wRC+ (77) with a 23.8 K% versus lefties and tied for 14th in wRC+ (97) with a 23.4 K% on the road this year. Cincinnati was also 28th in wRC+ (87) with a 22.4 K% in the previous 30 days. So, the Angels are -126, and the game’s total is 8.5 runs.
J.T. Ginn (SP – ATH) at MIN
J.T. Ginn has made seven relief appearances and nine starts this year, totaling 55.1 innings. Ginn has done his best work this year away from his hitter-friendly home ballpark. In three relief appearances and four starts on the road spanning 27.1 innings this season, Ginn has tallied a 3.29 ERA, 2.49 xFIP, 0.95 WHIP, 4.8 BB% and 30.5 K%. Ginn has a tasty matchup and acceptable betting info relative to his salary tonight.
The Twins are tied for 21st in wRC+ (98) with a 21.9 K% versus righties and 17th in wRC+ (102) with a 21.1 K% at home this season. Additionally, Minnesota was 22nd in wRC+ (94) with a 22.7 K% in the previous 30 days. The Athletics are slight underdogs (+110), and the game’s total is 9.0 runs. The betting info isn’t ideal, but it shouldn’t dissuade gamers from using Ginn as an SP2 in all game types at DraftKings. However, Ginn isn’t an appealing option at FanDuel since they award points for a quality start, and Ginn has only one this season.
Suggested Lineup Stacks
The Dodgers took advantage of the dreamy hitting conditions and a mouthwatering matchup at Coors Field last night, hanging 11 runs on the Rockies. Los Angeles has another opportunity to do so tonight against Tanner Gordon. The righty has an 8.30 ERA, 4.61 xFIP, 4.68 SIERA and 1.76 WHIP in 16 career starts since reaching the Majors last year. Gordon has surrendered a .348 wOBA to 97 lefties and a .456 wOBA to 83 righties this season. Colorado’s bullpen also has the second-highest ERA (5.35) this year. Thus, the Dodgers, while likely being chalky again, should light up the scoreboard, making them good chalk to eat.

The Giants have a lousy offense against lefties, and their implied total won’t drum up DFS interest. Nevertheless, San Francisco has some enticing bargain hitters who can deliver value to DFS squads. Moreover, JP Sears is a fantastic matchup for the Giants. Sears has coughed up a .368 wOBA to 81 left-handed batters and a .346 wOBA to 417 right-handed batters this year. A trio of San Francisco’s hitters will be featured in the values/punts section below.

- Freddie Freeman has amassed a .400 OBP, .206 ISO, .389 wOBA and 150 wRC+ against righties since 2023.
- Will Smith is having a monstrous season at the dish, swatting 15 homers with 59 runs, 56 RBIs, two stolen bases, a .415 OBP, .203 ISO, .399 wOBA, .390 xwOBA and 160 wRC+ in 393 plate appearances.
- Teoscar Hernandez has tallied a .306 OBP, .186 ISO, .321 wOBA and 107 wRC+ against righties since 2023.
Value Plays/Punts
- Heliot Ramos has belted 15 bombs with a .359 OBP, .254 ISO, .378 wOBA and 146 wRC+ in 312 plate appearances against lefties since 2023.

Will Smith (C – LAD): 8.5 Fantasy Points – Higher
Smith is in a groove. He’s hit three homers with 12 runs, 10 RBIs, a .386 OBP, .176 ISO, .358 wOBA and 131 wRC+ in his previous 83 plate appearances.
Heliot Ramos (OF – SF): 7.5 Fantasy Points – Higher
Ramos is building on his breakout 2024 campaign. In 546 plate appearances this year, he’s swatted 15 homers with 64 runs, 53 RBIs, six stolen bases, a .339 OBP, .141 ISO, .326 wOBA, .323 xwOBA and 112 wRC+.
