Luke Rockhold’s latest knockout loss has prompted fans to call for his retirement.

The former UFC middleweight champion was put to sleep by Darren Till at Misfits 22 on Saturday night.

Luke Rockhold has been knocked out seven times during his 25-fight combat sports career.

Fans have had enough of seeing the 40-year-old MMA icon suffering potentially life-altering damage.

Luke Rockhold told to retire by fans

Social media was awash with people calling for Luke Rockhold to hang up his gloves after Misfits 22.

“Rockhold, just retire, please,” one fan said. While another added: “Rockhold glass chin. Needs to retire.”

“Time for Rockhold to retire, glass jaw,” a third person tweeted.

“Why is Rockhold still fighting? Retire, idiot,” someone else wrote.

“Safe to say Rockhold needs to retire from any kind of combat sport,” another X user commented.

“What a knockout. Rockhold needs to retire after that,” a sixth fan insisted.

The suspect chin of Luke Rockhold

Bloody Elbow ranked Rockhold’s 5 worst KO losses before his suspect chin was cracked by Till in boxing.

The California native was stopped by Vitor Belfort in his UFC debut, but his downfall didn’t start until he was shockingly put to sleep by Michael Bisping in 2016.

Rockhold never recovered from losing his 185lb UFC belt in one of the biggest upsets MMA has ever seen.

Two more bad KO losses against Yoel Romero and Jan Blachowicz occurred inside the UFC Octagon.

Mike Perry literally smashed Rockhold’s teeth in and made him quit when he switched to bare-knuckle boxing.

Hopefully, Rockhold will listen to the fans and walk away from fighting after yet another KO defeat.
