The Spider is back. Anderson Silva will face old rival Chris Weidman in a six-round boxing match on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Gervonta “Tank” Davis on Friday, November 14, at Miami’s Kaseya Center — live globally on Netflix.

The bout marks Silva’s first boxing match since his 2022 clash with Jake Paul and the third chapter in his rivalry with Weidman, who famously ended Silva’s record-breaking UFC title reign in 2013. The pair meet this time at 205 pounds, with Silva seeking a long-awaited revenge.

For Silva, this isn’t just another fight — it’s redemption, ten years in the making.

“I am super excited to embark on another battle against Chris,” said Silva. “We have a history, and on Friday, November 14, live only on Netflix, we’re putting another stamp on our chapter together. It will be a spectacle for the fans!”

Weidman, making his professional boxing debut, aims to go 1-0 against the legend he dethroned. “I’m undefeated in boxing and it’s gonna stay that way on Friday, November 14,” said Weidman. “I’m the original Spider killer.”

The fight is part of a stacked Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) event, headlined by Paul vs. Davis — one of the most significant crossover bouts in modern boxing.

MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said: “This one is for Brazil… unfinished business will finally be settled.”

Silva’s return adds intrigue to Paul’s evolving matchmaking trend. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has increasingly surrounded his cards with the names of past rivals — and with Silva back under MVP’s banner, talk of a potential rematch between the two has already begun.

Their 2022 bout remains the closest fight of Paul’s career outside of his lone loss to Tommy Fury, making a second meeting between the legend and the influencer a realistic prospect.

Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis and Silva vs. Weidman III stream live on November 14, only on Netflix.
