World Boxing News provided live results from the capital as York Hall hosted a thrilling domestic showdown. Kieron Conway defended his British and Commonwealth Middleweight Titles against unbeaten challenger George Liddard in a packed card, live on DAZN.

From the opening bell to the final stoppage, the action didn’t disappoint.

Liddard Makes History: Youngest British Middleweight Champion

Liddard, nicknamed The Billericay Bomber, outboxed and outlasted Kieron Conway to claim the British and Commonwealth Middleweight Titles via 10th-round TKO. Conway had been knocked down in the ninth and suffered a left-hand injury that ultimately forced his corner to throw in the towel.

At just 23, Liddard becomes the youngest ever British middleweight champion, now 13-0 with 8 KOs. Promoter Eddie Hearn suggested a world title shot could be two or three years away, giving fans a front-row seat to the rise of a new UK star.

Conway TKO’d in the Tenth Round

The reigning champion had moments of success but ultimately could not keep pace with Liddard’s relentless pressure. Conway’s left-hand injury compounded the challenge, making the stoppage a necessary call. Liddard’s combination of aggression and composed ring IQ ensured a well-deserved coronation in the capital.

Co-Main Thriller: Ryan Wins Technical Decision

Shannon Ryan took a technical decision victory over Chloe Watson after a clash of heads left Watson with a severely swollen eye. The ringside doctor allowed one additional round, but the injury worsened. After four completed rounds, all three judges scored it 40-36 in favour of Ryan.

The win secured Ryan the vacant IBF Inter-Continental Super Flyweight Title and showcased her composure under challenging circumstances.

Sains Claims English & Commonwealth Silver Titles

Jimmy Sains made a serious statement in the middleweight ranks, producing a dominant display against Troy Coleman. Coleman’s corner pulled him out at the end of the fourth round, awarding Sains the vacant English and Commonwealth Silver Middleweight belts.

The victory underscores Sains’ rise and positions him as a contender to watch in the division.

    Rising Stars Shine

    Tiah-Mai Ayton Stays Perfect

Teenage bantamweight prospect Tiah-Mai Ayton impressed again, stopping Argentina’s Laura Belen Valdebenito for her third consecutive professional stoppage victory. The 19-year-old floored her opponent twice, demonstrating power and composure beyond her years.

    Taylor Bevan Continues KO Streak

Super Middleweight sensation Taylor Bevan maintained his unblemished record, knocking down Lukas Ferneza in the fifth round for a decisive stoppage. Bevan is now 6-0, all by KO, continuing his destructive run at York Hall.

    Prelims Highlights

Leli Buttigieg overcame a nasty cut from a clash of heads to earn an eight-round points victory (79-73) over Christian Schembri in the Maltese middleweight derby—a first full-distance outing for Buttigieg, and a solid step in his development.

Adam Maca, 18, forced a stoppage in the final round against Juan Alberto Batista to move to 3-0. The young bantamweight’s skill and composure were evident throughout.

Jermaine Dhliwayo opened the card with a fourth-round stoppage victory over Mario Victorino Vera, setting the tone for an action-packed night.

    Liddard’s Next Steps

York Hall delivered non-stop action from start to finish. While Kieron Conway’s reign ends, George Liddard’s story is just beginning. Fans can expect him to pursue domestic domination and eventual world title contention over the coming years.
