
Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd discussed the team’s decision to fire general manager Nico Harrison on Tuesday.
“The two things that we can control is our energy and effort,” Kidd told reporters Wednesday. “A business decision was made. We gotta push forward. We believe that Riccardi and Fin can do a good job and will do a good job in their new role.”
Kidd also reflected on fans chanting “Fire Nico” at Mavericks home games prior to his departure.
“With that chant when we’re shooting free throws is very disrespectful,” Kidd told reporters. “But understanding that they got their point across, the fans. But we have to move forward.”
