WAYNE ROONEY rolled back the years by scoring a brilliant overhead kick in front of a live TV audience.
The Manchester United and England legend, 40, recently appeared on A League of Their Own.
During the show, Rooney took to a mini football pitch and received a pass from presenter Romesh Ranganathan.
The former striker instantly controlled the fizzed ball, before flicking it over his head.
Rooney then unleashed a sensational overhead kick into the empty net, stunning all in attendance.
Ranganathan ran up to him, with the pair hugging in celebration.

The strike was a throwback to one of Rooney’s most famous goals – the stunning overhead kick in Man Utd’s 2-1 win over noisy neighbours City in February 2011.
