The Dallas Cowboys are paying tribute to Marshawn Kneeland ahead of their “Monday Night Football” game in Las Vegas.

Players and staff will wear shirts bearing Kneeland’s photo and the team also prepared a locker in his honor where his No. 94 jersey is displayed. The defensive end died on Nov. 6 at age 24 of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Dallas, on a bye in Week 10, held a memorial candlelight vigil last week inside the Ford Center, its practice facility. Several members of the organization spoke, including team owner Jerry Jones, head coach Brian Schottenheimer and defensive tackles Osa Odighizuwa and Solomon Thomas. The vigil lasted around 90 minutes and was followed by a reception at the team’s training table for team members, family and friends.

The team returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since Kneeland’s death. Quarterback Dak Prescott said the team began preparing for their Week 11 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders with their teammate’s memory in mind.

“It felt good. It was a great practice. Good energy. Beautiful weather. We’re not forgetting, but we’re moving forward and carrying on the light,” Prescott said last week.
