James “Jazza” Dickens is to defend his WBA junior-lightweight title against Anthony Cacace at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on March 14.
On a promotion organised to celebrate the St Patrick’s Day of March 17, Pierce O’Leary and Mark Chamberlain also fight, at junior welterweight, in an appealing contest that represents the chief support.
“We are starting 2026 with a bang,” said Queensberry Promotions’ Frank Warren. “Dublin has a rich boxing history, and there is no better time than St Patrick’s Day weekend to bring world championship boxing back to the 3Arena.
“Jazza Dickens vs Anthony Cacace is a phenomenal match-up between two of the best in the division, and Pierce O’Leary finally gets the big homecoming he deserves against a serious threat in Mark Chamberlain. This entire show will be live and exclusive on DAZN, ensuring fans across the globe can witness the atmosphere of a Dublin fight night.”
England’s Dickens, 34, was upgraded to the status of full champion in early December when the title was stripped from Lamont Roach Jnr. He won the interim title when stopping in four rounds Albert Batyrgaziev in July 2025.
Cacace, 36 years old and of Northern Ireland, is the former IBF champion. He most recently fought in May 2025, when he stopped Leigh Wood in nine.
