Moses Itauma’s fight against Jermaine Franklin has been postponed after the Brit sustained an injury in camp, Queensberry Promotions have confirmed.

Rising heavyweight star Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) was set to fight American Franklin (24-2, 15 KOs) at the Co-Op Live in Manchester, England on Jan. 24.

The entire card has now been moved to March 28 at the same venue.

“Moses Itauma has sustained an injury in camp for his fight with Jermaine Franklin on Jan. 24,” Queensberry said in a statement.

“Due to this, the whole Magnificent 7 show has been postponed and moved to the new date of March 28th at the Co-Op Live in Manchester.”

Itauma dealt with various injuries in 2025 and struggled to find opponents willing to face him, meaning he fought just twice last year, with knockout wins over Mike Balogun and Dillian Whyte.

Franklin, whose only professional defeats came on points against Whyte and Anthony Joshua, was expected to present a challenge for Itauma who has swept aside all previous opponents.

“It certainly could be Moses’ toughest fight,” promoter Frank Warren told ESPN prior to the postponement.

“Franklin brings durability has been in with Anthony Joshua, one of the hardest punching heavyweights and was not stopped, against Dillian Whyte some people thought Franklin won, these are his only two losses.

“Franklin has a lot of self-belief, so yes a tough test for Moses.”

The “Magnificent 7” undercard featured several British domestic clashes including a light heavyweight match up between Willie Hutchinson and Ezra Taylor.
