Dallas Cowboys defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku was arrested Sunday on a reckless driving charge, according to Collin County Jail records.
He was released on the same day after posting a $500 bond with conditions, per the jail records.
At 11:54 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, a Texas state trooper allegedly noticed a vehicle being driven in a reckless manner on the southbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway in Plano, Texas.
“The trooper initiated a traffic stop to investigate, which ultimately led to the arrest of the driver,” the Texas Department of Public Safety wrote in a press release. “The driver, Donovan Ezeiruaku of Frisco, TX, was booked into the Collin County Jail for Reckless Driving, a Class B misdemeanor. This investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.”
The Cowboys declined to comment on the matter and Ezeiruaku’s agent did not respond to a request for comment.
