Paddy Pimblett weighed in at his lowest since moving up from featherweight ahead of his shot at UFC gold.
Just 16 hours before he was due to hit the scales for the official UFC 324 weigh-ins, Pimblett showed up at 167.2lb during an official check. And by the time he actually weighed in, he had made it down to 154lb, actually below the lightweight limit of 155lb.

'The Baddy' gains more than 50lbs after every fight😳
On a day of multiple misses and a frightening collapse, it was a relief to see Justin Gaethje also make weight at 155lb on the button. The pair are competing for the interim title, with Ilia Topuria remaining undisputed during his extended absence.

Paddy Pimblett shows off 12lb weight loss in fight day video
In his fight day vlog on YouTube, Paddy Pimblett showed off just how much weight he had to get off for his world title fight. He is known for ballooning up between fights and at times has been over 210lb, but has never missed the limit at lightweight.
However, this time around he had to get down to the championship weight of 155lb on the button for the first time. He is a former Cage Warriors featherweight champion, but had already headed off to the big leagues before going for the lightweight title after moving up in 2018.
He showed himself doing a weight check on the official scales just after the press conference on Thursday night, with weigh-ins due at 9am the following morning. The number was 167.2lb, which meant that he needed to drop 12.2lb in a matter of hours.

Pimblett and his team seemed to be happy with that, insisting that it was his best weight yet before putting him through a gruelling workout in a sweatsuit. For context, he was over 170lb at the same time before his fight with Michael Chandler at UFC 314.
And he ended up going to sleep at 157lb, waking up at 156lb and in need of just one more pound to lose. He jumped in a hot tub before putting on a sweatsuit and covering himself in towels, and ended up actually tipping the scales just under what was necessary.
