The world’s top 24 automatically qualified for the 32-player event at Arena MK, running from Thursday January 29-Sunday February 1, with the final eight spots coming via a Preliminary Round qualifier ahead of the tournament.
Littler is the pre-tournament favourite to win one of just two PDC ranked major TV titles he has yet to win, while Humphries chases back-to-back titles after beating Jonny Clayton in last year’s final.

The unique format sees sets played over the best of three legs in every match, with the opening round played over Thursday and Friday before the last 16 is held across two sessions on Saturday.
The quarter-finals are played on Sunday afternoon ahead of the semi-finals and final that evening, with the winner taking home a £100,000 first prize and the runner-up picking up £50,000.
