One of the most unique personalities on the UFC roster has already made retirement plans.
Dana White admitted that he wanted one UFC fighter to lose in 2025, which sent fans into overdrive as they presented theories on who he was talking about.
It’s no secret that the promotion’s president hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye with every athlete who steps inside the Octagon.
Some questioned whether it could’ve been something like Alex Pereira’s rematch with Magomed Ankalaev due to what the promotion would gain from a certain outcome.
One of the other names that fans also put forward as a potential candidate isn’t sure whether he’ll compete again for the UFC.

Bryce Mitchell isn’t sure whether the UFC will give him another fight
Bryce Mitchell defeated Said Nurmagomedov last July to return to the win column when competing at bantamweight for the first time in his UFC career.
The former contestant on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ was previously a ranked featherweight thanks to a five-fight win streak that he capped off by beating Edson Barboza in 2022.
Despite the fact that he’s only lost to elite opposition in Ilia Topuria, Josh Emmett, and Jean Silva, his career has gone through some major swings in recent years.
Mitchell’s loss to Silva at UFC 314 was a setback, but it was made far more damaging due to the amount of people that were rooting against him due to some of his highly controversial comments.
‘Thug Nasty’ recently appeared on Tim Welch’s (Sean O’Malley’s coach) Red Hawk Recap where he was asked whether he has a specific target in sight for his next outing.
“Not in particular. At this point, I’m just happy to get what I get, you know? I’ll take anything and I just want another fight,” Mitchell admitted. “Who knows, they might not give me another fight. I don’t know what’s gonna happen. If they don’t give me a fight, I’ll just do blue collar work the rest of my life.”

Dana White scolded Bryce Mitchell when publicly addressing his controversial comments
Some didn’t expect Dana White to issue such a strong stance on the comments Bryce Mitchell made during the very first episode of his ArkanSanity Podcast.
The UFC fighter’s jaw-dropping rant was described as “beyond disgusting” by the promotion’s president when he addressed it at a press conference in January of last year.
White described Mitchell as a “moron”, but added that there wouldn’t be any punishments against him.
“It’s free speech,” he said. “That’s the beautiful thing about this business, for all of you who hate Bryce Mitchell, you get to see him hopefully get his ass whooped on global television.”
