Ronda Rousey and Nate Diaz have gone from being two of the UFC’s biggest stars to joining the competition.
Rousey has said she is leading a revolution that she believes is bigger than Most Valuable Promotions going head-to-head with the UFC.
‘Rowdy’ said that her comeback was being lined up for the Octagon until the negotiations fell apart due to the promotion’s move to Paramount+.
Since then, Rousey has been critical of the UFC, with her reaction to Diaz joining her on Netflix’s first MMA event seeing her take a shot at one person in particular.

Ronda Rousey says she’s coming for Hunter Campbell’s job in Nate Diaz announcement post
Ronda Rousey slammed the UFC White House card when reacting to Francis Ngannou being announced as a part of the event where she will make her MMA return.
Following this, ‘Rowdy’ targeted a different aspect of her former home when commenting on Nate Diaz vs Mike Perry being added to Most Valuable Promotions’ event on May 16.
“Welcome to the revolution Nate Diaz,” she wrote in a deleted post on X. “It’s FIGHTERS vs the establishment – and we’re gonna win! May 16th only on Netflix. P.S. Hunter Campbell p—– off the wrong b—-, I’m coming for your job m———–.”

Rousey said that she received Dana White’s blessing to take her MMA return elsewhere after they weren’t able to make it happen in the UFC.
While she’s always had a great relationship with the promotion’s president, it’s well known that Hunter Campbell (chief business officer) is the one dealing with a lot of the fighters on the roster.
Given how the former UFC bantamweight champion has been speaking since her comeback was announced, it seems likely that Rousey will provide more context on why she highlighted Campbell in particular at a later date.
One thing that is for certain is that adding Diaz to the card is sure to be a big draw for fans regardless of how they feel about the other fights due to his reputation in the sport.
