Jon Jones isn’t convinced by a fighter’s memory of how their training session went.
Jones has been a key part of Dirty Boxing since the promotion’s launch and continued growth in recent times.
While he’s made it clear how frustrated he is about not making his return to the Octagon, ‘Bones’ is continuing to keep himself busy.
Later today, Jones will be in attendance for IBA Bare Knuckle 4 after recently announcing that he’s now partnered with the promotion, and it seems he has history with one of the athletes who will be in action.

Jon Jones says Vagab Vagabov is lying about choking him out in previous training session
At the KSK Arena in Saint Petersburg, Yoel Romero will take on Vagab Vagabov in the main event of IBA Bare Knuckle 4 later today.
A clip posted by Red Corner MMA during fight week showed Jon Jones being questioned on whether he remembers training with Vagabov.
Photos of the fighter didn’t jog the former UFC champion’s memory, though he was certain the Russian wasn’t being entirely true when he supposedly said that he choked ‘Bones’ out when they grappled.
“Yeah, right! Now I know he’s lying,” Jones replied. I know my teammates.”

At the perfect moment, Vagabov then entered the room and was able to pull up photos of him being involved in training sessions with Jones at the Jackson Wink MMA Academy in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The MMA legend admitted that he didn’t initially recognize the fighter because he looks very different to when they would have shared the mats.
Earlier this week, IBA’s CEO took a shot at how the UFC have treated Jones when saying that he’s partnered with them because they approached him with the respect he deserves.
The 38-year-old stood between the competitors, including Vagabov and Romero, during the face-offs on fight week.
