ONE Championship brings another exclusive card to members of The Inner Circle on Friday, April 3, streaming live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Five bouts are on the card across Muay Thai and MMA, headlined by a flyweight Muay Thai showdown that pits a Road To ONE Champion against one of the circuit’s most relentless finishers.
Kaotaem Fairtex steps into the ring against Spain’s Xavier Gonzalez in the main event. The 21-year-old southpaw from Phetchabun won the 2023 Road To ONE: Thailand Season 2 tournament and has gone 3-1 on the ONE Friday Fights circuit since. He works off the back foot, using sharp angles to set up his accurate straight left and a left body kick that has troubled everyone he has faced.
Gonzalez has called Thailand home since 2019 and fights like it. The 24-year-old Spaniard buries opponents under high-volume boxing combinations before opening up with body kicks, elbows, and clinch work. He never stops pressing forward, and fighters who give him time and space to load up pay for it quickly.
Aekkalak meets Dokmaipa in The Inner Circle co-main event
The co-main event is a strawweight Muay Thai clash between two technically precise fighters. Aekkalak Sor Samarngarment, 27, carries a 63-20 record and the Channel 7 Stadium Tiger Cement Tournament title to his name. He is a veteran of the clinch who is meticulous in his transitions and dangerous with his left body kick and knees.
Dokmaipa Santiubon is only 21 but carries himself with the composure of a far more experienced fighter. The southpaw holds an 80-21 record and makes his ONE debut here. His left body kick is timed to near-perfection, and his right upper elbow and left downward elbow have been sharp weapons throughout his career. He arrives on a two-fight winning streak.
Elsewhere, Jaradchai Maxjandee faces Thant Zin in flyweight Muay Thai. Tonglampoon FA Group meets Petnamkhong Sor Maneekhot in strawweight Muay Thai. Zar Mawia faces Taiga Orii in bantamweight MMA.
