Drew Dober shared insight into what it is like to be around Sean Strickland in the gym.
The rivalry between Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev reached fever pitch during their heated press conference on Thursday.
Chimaev and Strickland trained together several years ago, with those sessions leading to a tense middleweight title fight in Newark.
Ahead of the fight, Dober reflected on a previous interaction with the former champion when breaking down his fighting style.

Drew Dober says Sean Strickland tried to fight three people at Xtreme Couture
UFC lightweight Drew Dober previewed Sean Strickland’s upcoming title fight by sharing his thoughts on the controversial American.
During the video on his YouTube channel, the fan favorite recalled a previous interaction between them when explaining that what you see is what you get with the former champion.
Strickland’s fighting style is undoubtedly a product of how much sparring he does, but that means constantly having willing partners walk in the doors of his home base in Las Vegas.
“The one scenario, I was at Xtreme Couture, I mean, he tried to fight three people within 30 minutes of me meeting him,” Dober said. “He tried to fight me, not in the same weight class. He tried to fight my coach, retired UFC fighter and he ended up just fighting some strange guy that just walked in. Ended up TKO’ing him in the gym.”

Strickland, who has been training with Johnny Eblen for this fight, has been very critical of the way that Khamzat Chimaev treats other people in the gym.
It isn’t clear whether the tension between them will play into the fight by affecting either of their approaches.
Sam Alvey predicted that Strickland could stop Chimaev when speaking to Bloody Elbow, as he expects his former teammate to be more aggressive in this fight due to his feelings towards ‘Borz’.
