Ronda Rousey’s latest jab back at Khamzat Chimaev may have cost her one of her biggest fans just days before her MMA return.
Legendary former world champion and Olympic medalist Rousey shredded Chimaev at last night’s press conference for her fight with Gina Carano. She branded him ‘cleft-lip Lincoln’, and mocked his ineffective wrestling style that has seen him branded a boring fighter.
However, the comment about his lip clearly upset PFL champion Dakota Ditcheva, who has made it abundantly clear that she can no longer support Rousey. This is despite watching her while growing up and regularly citing the American as a major influence in her decision to pursue the sport.

Dakota Ditcheva disavows Ronda Rousey over press conference rant
After Khamzat Chimaev claimed that Ronda Rousey should be more grateful to the UFC and their ownership for making her such a massive star, the former champion made her feelings clear at last night’s press conference.
“F—ing ‘Cleft Lip Lincoln’ is just hating because at his press conference for his fight, people are asking about me and my fight because no one gives a s— about his ineffectual wrestle-f— fests.” Rousey said in a promo she had teased for days prior.
“People actually can’t stop talking about this fight because it’s so stacked and they’re actually excited to see me fight because unlike Kumquat, I have a 100% finish rate.”
This clearly irked Dakota Ditcheva, who wrote on X: “Ronda Rousey’s comment towards Chimaev regarding his cleft palate was absolutely disgraceful.
“I am no longer a fan. As a mother, you should know better. The amount of young children navigating difficulties like that while you sit on a worldwide stage mocking it. Do better.”
After being inundated with messages, Ditcheva replied with a follow-up that read: “For all my twitter trolls lol…
“As a young woman and fighter, I have always looked up to Ronda and been inspired by her. Without being disrespectful, Chimaev, Sean and Jon were never my role models and not people I looked up to. I simply appreciate their skills in the cage. #TeamPFL.”
