Alex Pereira told that plan to appeal UFC Freedom 250 loss is ‘not a good look’ by Michael Bisping

Michael Bisping is not convinced that Alex Pereira was hard done by.

‘Poatan’ has been making plenty of noise on social media after he failed to become the promotion’s first three-division champion at Sunday’s UFC event at the White House.

Pereira was knocked out by Ciryl Gane in round two of the UFC Freedom 250 co-main event. The Frenchman wobbled him on the feet before finding the stoppage with a relentless onslaught of strikes.

But the Brazilian believes a number of them were “illegal,” and he wants the result to be overturned as a result.

Pereira believes a number of Gane’s strikes that led to the finish on June 14 landed to the back of his head.

He has not been staying quiet about those claims. In fact, Pereira re-shared over 20 posts about the controversy in a single day on Instagram.

In the latest update, it was revealed that Pereira’s team is planning to appeal the result, as well as banning referee Herb Dean from officiating any of his future fights.

Michael Bisping reacted to the situation during a recent appearance on the Jaxxon Podcast.

“Pereira, I don’t get it, man. That’s not a good look,” Bisping said.

“He is emotional, he’s upset, and he’s p—ed off. And he believes what he’s saying right now, probably because his team around him is saying, ‘That’s bulls—! We’re going to appeal this!’

“If they do, I guarantee it has got no legs and gets nowhere,” he added.

It remains to be seen what lies ahead for Pereira, whose current focus looks to be on rectifying his setback in Washington, DC, rather than making a quick return to action.

‘Poatan’ has already been called out by one man if he stays at heavyweight, with Josh Hokit continuing to target the Brazilian fan favorite after their altercations during fight week and at the Newark press conference in May.
