As we continue to assess the rosters of the WCG Dynasty Fantasy Football League, it’s time we look at the big bossman’s team. Let’s look at Lester Wiltfong’s roster.

Now, Lester has been a force in this league for several years. He’s made multiple championship game appearances and has multiple championships as well. He’s in the playoffs every season and has never had to do a rebuild.

Is his roster ready to push for another championship? Let’s break it down:

Starting Dak Prescott each week is a solid spot to be in. QB2 will most likely be okay this year, but Brissett and Geno Smith aren’t the most stable group. Both of those guys feel like they could be benched at any given moment for two bad teams that should be playing young quarterbacks.

I’m not sure what to make of the running back room. Both Dowdle and Etienne scored plenty of fantasy points last year, but both are on new teams and might be sharing more carries than they needed to do last year. The rest of the room is made up of largely RB2s and RB3s on NFL rosters. If there are a couple of injuries in front of some of these players, they could definitely score some points, but if their counterparts are healthy, they aren’t going to be very viable. Due to the number of backs he has here, odds are he’s going to have a couple of viable running backs most weeks, but none of these guys will probably go off and have a big fantasy week for him.

The wide receiver room is also in an interesting spot. Egbuka was a great addition to this room. Shaheed, Shakir, and Turpin all scored points last year, but I still don’t see any of them as difference makers. Pat Bryant has interesting upside here for sure, and it will be interesting to see what Jauan Jennings does in Minnesota this year. There are certainly some points to be scored here, but again, you don’t see big-time difference makers.

The tight end room has two guys who scored a decent amount with Johnson and Goedert, but interestingly, both teams selected TEs fairly high in the draft who could start eating into their targets. If they both score similarly to what they did in 2025, the room will certainly be satisfactory.

Moving over to the defensive side of the ball, the tackle room is interesting. Having both Turner and Buckner gives Lester a really nice duo at the top of the room. How much longer will Buckner be productive at 32? Certainly a question that nobody really has an answer to. Adding two rookies to the room makes a lot of sense.

The edge room is solid. Crosby is a game wrecker who can give you a 30- or 40-point game at any point. If Chubb can play all or most of a season, he regularly scores fantasy points. Van Ginkel scores some points, and Cooper isn’t bad either.

I’m a sucker for a good linebacker room, and both Sherwood and Olukun score at the position. I love the addition of Rodriguez through the rookie draft, and Spillane with Davis-Gaither round out a solid room.

The CBs Lester has on his roster are all pretty decent scorers, but I would question why anyone needs 7 CBs on a roster.

The safety room has guys who can score. Will Conner repeat last year’s huge performance? Does Minkah have much left in the tank? The potential is there for the room.

Lester has many of his drafted rookies this year on his taxi squad, making his taxi unit quite strong with plenty of potential.

When you look at Lester’s roster, you see a unit with pretty solid depth at most positions and a pretty good variety of talent. What you don’t see is a lot of high-end game breakers who can blow a game open with a huge scoring afternoon. I think this is an easy playoff team, but without those dominant players, will there be enough here in November and December to push for another championship?
