Jacksonville is set to pile on against a Baltimore team in a full-blown crisis.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are 8.5-point favorites as they visit the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 5, with kickoff set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
With the Ravens facing a full-blown quarterback disaster, my Jaguars vs. Ravens prediction and NFL picks are backing the visitors in what could be an absolute smackdown.

Jaguars vs Ravens prediction: Jaguars -8.5
With rookie Joe Fagnano being the likely starter for the Baltimore Ravens, I’m expecting a bloodbath. Playable to -9.5.
Fagnano completed just 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards against Buffalo and is now nursing an ankle injury on a short week. Baltimore hasn’t topped 13 points in three straight games, sitting 30th in yards per play over that span.
Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ offense is in a different galaxy right now, ranking third in yards per play over that stretch while scoring 73 points in its last two outings.
The Ravens’ defense has also been letting them down, allowing 71 points over its last two games. Isn’t Jesse Minter supposed to be a defensive genius?
Don’t expect the Jaguars to play down to the competition. They’re 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games as favorites, outscoring opponents by an average of 14 points and covering by an average of 8.6 points.
Baltimore is 0-4-1 ATS in its last five games as a home underdog, losing by an average of 16 points. With the AFC’s No. 1 seed to chase, Jacksonville has every reason to keep its foot on the gas.

Baltimore’s quarterback situation might be the worst in the NFL. Playing on a short week against a Super Bowl contender makes matters even worse.
Jacksonville has been an absolute bully against overmatched opponents, demolishing Indianapolis by 35 points as a 10.5-point favorite last week and smashing Cleveland by 24 as an 8.5-point favorite earlier this season.
Let’s pair another beatdown with a Brenton Strange touchdown.
Baltimore has allowed a tight end to score in three of its last four games and has surrendered touchdowns on 83.3% of opponents’ red-zone trips over its last three.
This sets up beautifully for Strange to find the end zone in a Jacksonville rout.

That’s music to the ears of Strange, who’s becoming a major piece of Jacksonville’s passing attack. He’s drawn at least seven targets in three of his last four games and enters Thursday as the Jaguars’ second-most-targeted pass catcher this season.
At just 28% on Kalshi, I’m buying the opportunity for Strange to find the end zone against this struggling defense.
