July 19, 2025 | World Boxing News provides an update for Pacquiao vs Barrios occurring at the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao returns to challenge WBC Welterweight Champion Mario Barrios in a generational clash under the bright lights of PBC Pay-Per-View on Prime Video.

The stacked event begins with a three-fight streaming card featuring two former world champions and a battle of super bantamweight contenders, before rolling into a star-studded PPV lineup topped by Pacquiao’s latest title shot.

Stay locked in for live results, updates, and live scorecards as the night unfolds.

    Pacquiao vs Barrios LIVE Scorecard.

    Fundora vs Tszyu LIVE Scorecard.

    Pacquiao vs Barrios Results:

    Main PPV Card

Manny Pacquiao produced a remarkable performance at 46, pushing WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios to a majority draw in Las Vegas.

The Filipino legend outworked Barrios in the middle rounds and appeared to do enough to win on the World Boxing News scorecard, 115-113.

Despite a late rally from the champion, official scores read 115-113 Barrios and 114-114 twice. While Pacquiao fell short of a historic victory, he proved he still belongs on the elite stage.

Sebastian Fundora produced a dominant display in Las Vegas, stopping Tim Tszyu in round seven to retain his WBC super welterweight title.

The 6ft 5in champion dropped Tszyu with a big left in the first and kept control throughout. Despite Tszyu’s toughness and a strong sixth round, he was outgunned by Fundora’s reach and volume.

A battered and bloodied Tszyu froze under pressure in round seven, prompting the referee to step in as he stood unresponsive.

Fundora moves to 23-1-1 (15 KOs) and told WBN he’s open to a Manny Pacquiao fight. Tszyu falls to 25-3 but remains one of the division’s toughest competitors.

Isaac Cruz and late replacement Omar Salcido traded blows for ten rounds, with ‘Pitbull’ coming off better in the powerful exchanges.

As usual, Cruz brawled his way to victory ahead of a possible world title fight. By carding 100-88, and 99-89 twice with the judges, Cruz becomes the interim WBC super lightweight champion.

Despite going down in the last round, Salcido deserves credit for stepping in on very short notice.

Brandon Figueroa and Joet Gonzalez entertained the MGM Grand crowd in the Pay Per View opener as the pair engaged in a twelve-round war.

Figueroa, who spoke to WBN during the build-up about his tendency to brawl, scored a unanimous decision in a match-up that could have gone either way.

In the end, ‘The Heartbreaker’ got the decision 116-112 twice and 115-113 on the cards, but only after he went viral for punching himself in the face.

    Prelims

Gary Russell Jr. proved he still had the speed at 37 years old to compete as he dropped Hugo Castañeda multiple times on his way to a tenth-round stoppage.

The former long-reigning world champion looked his age in spells, but still has enough in the locker to secure at least one more big fight.

David Picasso showed he’s nowhere near ready for Naoya Inoue after struggling to overcome  Kyonosuke Kameda.

The Mexican shipped far too many shots and took too many uppercuts in a close majority decision. After ten rounds, judges carded 95-95, 97-93, and 98-92 as Picasso moved to 32-0-1.

On this form, you have to question how Picasso fought to get to that kind of record.

Mark Magsayo scored a comprehensive victory over Jorge Mata, as Filipino fans enjoyed a one-sided shutout.

The super featherweight and former world featherweight champion ignited another world title run with a 100-90 (2), 98-92 triumph.

Before the prelims began, those fans were cheering Eumir Marcial as the Olympian kicked off the action with a third-round stoppage of Bernard Joseph.

With the win, Marcial goes 6-0, 4 KOs, and continues his professional journey.
