Senesi manages to recover, although it isn’t immediately obvious how, and it’s only with the aid of a replay that viewers see the defender divert the ball with his fingertips.
The Liverpool players are adamant that it is handball – and potentially the denial of a goalscoring opportunity – but Anthony Taylor doesn’t see it.
