The NFL Week 5 slate is the first time in 2025 with teams on bye. The Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers will all be unavailable to play in DFS this week, meaning we’ve got less options and more condensed lineups.

My NFL DFS Lineup Advice: Best Stacks (Week 4) hit on several stacks, including Matthew Stafford (QB2) and Davante Adams (WR21) plus Drake London (WR4) and Michael Penix Jr. (QB11). Tyler Warren (TE2) and Deebo Samuel (WR12) each had strong standalone performances.

NFL DFS Week 5: Best DFS Stacks

    DraftKings Salary: $50,000 | FanDuel Salary: $60,000

New York Giants vs. New Orleans Saints

Player (Position) Team DK $ FD $
Spencer Rattler (QB) New Orleans Saints $4,800 $6,500
Chris Olave (WR) New Orleans Saints $5,200 $6,100
Rashid Shaheed (WR) New Orleans Saints $4,500 $5,300
Cam Skattebo (RB) New York Giants $6,000 $6,200
Jaxson Dart (QB) New York Giants $5,300 $6,900

One of the more under-the-radar matchups for fantasy production in Week 5 features two teams with a combined 1-7 record. The Saints are favored to win this NFC tilt at home against the Giants, which would give QB Spencer Rattler his first career win as a starter.

Rattler hasn’t been bad in fantasy. The Saints’ QB1 often finds himself in a negative gamescript, leading to heavy passing volume. Rattler’s favorite target has been WR Chris Olave with a 28.9 percent target share. New Orleans’ signal-caller is averaging 14.9 fantasy points per game in 2025, while Olave just scored his first touchdown on the road against Buffalo.

Olave’s counterpart, WR2 Rashid Shaheed, is third on the Saints in target share with a 16.8 percent rate. He’s hauled in at least four receptions in every game, averaging 10.5 fantasy points.

A stack of Rattler-Olave-Shaheed is cheap on the Week 5 slate and could return big value against a Giants pass defense ranked 27th in total completions allowed and 22nd in yards per play.

We’re going to invest in the Giants’ rookie backfield tandem at a cheap price and recommend stacking QB Jaxson Dart with RB Cam Skattebo. Skattebo has earned a full workhorse role with Tyrone Tracy Jr. sidelined due to injury, while Dart led the Giants to their first win of the season during his debut against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

New Orleans has one of the league’s worst scoring defenses, so Dart and Skattebo should be busy racking up fantasy points in a potential high-scoring shootout in the Caesars Superdome on Sunday.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Indianapolis Colts

Player (Position) Team DK $ FD $
Daniel Jones (QB) Indianapolis Colts $5,800 $7,400
Michael Pittman (WR) Indianapolis Colts $5,100 $5,900
Tyler Warren (TE) Indianapolis Colts $4,700 $6,100
Geno Smith (QB) Las Vegas Raiders $5,400 $7,000
Jakobi Meyers (WR) Las Vegas Raiders $5,600 $6,000

I cannot stop investing in the Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams have had favorable matchups in their last few games played, so we’ll start with the 3-1 Colts facing a Raiders defense surrendering 5.5 yards per play, ranked 20th in the NFL.

Daniel Jones didn’t have his best game in Week 4 against the Rams but he did make enough quality throws to keep the Colts competitive. In fact, a few untimely miscues handed Los Angeles the win.

Jones has been highly-effective as a goal-line ball carrier, spiking his fantasy production. Last week, he threw his first interception of the season. The Raiders have forced four total turnovers in 2025, while allowing chunk explosive plays, so Jones should be able to return at least 15-20 fantasy points with his dual-threat ability.

Michael Pittman has been Jones’ favorite target during his first year with the Colts. Pittman has a 24 percent target share, while averaging 13 fantasy points per game this season. He’s scored a touchdown in three of four games, while finishing with at least four receptions and 40 yards in all four contests.

Tyler Warren is the other player with over a 20 percent target share in the Colts’ offense. The rookie tight end finally found the end zone in Week 4 as a ball carrier, while logging five receptions for 70 yards on six targets. Expect Warren to remain a focal point and continue being a chain-mover and a big red zone target in a favorable matchup.

Geno Smith has been turnover-prone in 2025 but he’s a cheap quarterback to stack with WR Jakobi Meyers. Meyers leads the Raiders with a 26 percent target share and he’s fairly cheap between $5.6K to $6K in DFS contests. His fantasy points have been trending down but Indianapolis has allowed 93 total completions and eight receiving touchdowns, both ranked bottom-12 in the NFL.

Smith-Meyers is the stack to target on Las Vegas. A trio of Jones-Pittman-Warren pairs the Colts’ top two targets with their new highly efficient quarterback.

    Miami Dolphins vs. Carolina Panthers

Player (Position) Team DK $ FD $
Bryce Young (QB) Carolina Panthers $4,700 $6,600
Tetairoa McMillan (WR) Carolina Panthers $5,700 $6,200
Ollie Gordon II (RB) Miami Dolphins $4,800 $5,000
Darren Waller (TE) Miami Dolphins $3,500 $5,200
Tua Tagovailoa (QB) Miami Dolphins $5,500 $6,800

Carolina and Miami are two teams that have compiled way more losses than wins in 2025. The Dolphins are undoubtedly the better team but neither defense has been reliable so far, meaning we could get fireworks in Charlotte.

Bryce Young has been rewarding top-ten rookie wideout Tetairoa McMillan with a 23.3 percent target share. The next closest player in terms of target share is WR Hunter Renfrow at 14 percent. Young’s turnovers have been an issue, however, he’s also had strong moments, including a late push against Arizona and the Panthers’ 30-0 win over Atlanta at home.

Young and McMillan will be a big-time stack to roster against a Miami pass defense allowing 7.7 net yards gained per pass attempt, ranked second-most in the league. McMillan is due to find the end zone soon and it could be this week against a struggling Dolphins secondary, giving up seven passing touchdowns.

We’ll wrap up with Miami’s new-look offense. Without WR Tyreek Hill on the field following a season-ending knee injury, it’s going to be a run-centric offense that leans heavily on newly acquired tight end, Darren Waller. Waller popped for a pair of touchdowns during his season debut against the New York Jets.

It’s not fair to expect another two-touchdown performance, however, without Hill, Tua Tagovailoa will likely look to a reliable, big target in the middle of the field to move the football. Rookie running back Ollie Gordon is beginning to get more snaps as well, which will inevitably lead to high-value touches in the red zone against one of the league’s worst run defenses.

Tagovailoa is averaging 15.1 fantasy points per game, while Gordon could wind up with his first double-digit touch outing against Carolina. Waller is the biggest boom-or-bust candidate but he’s dirt cheap to plug into DFS lineups this week on the road in a plus-matchup.
